The Award
The MARIO NASCIMBENE AWARD is open to composers of all nationalities and involves a competition among unpublished musical commentaries for a film sequence chosen by the Organization. There are two juries: the Selection Jury and the Awards Jury.
The Selection Jury has the task of viewing and judging all the competing musical commentaries; at the end of the selections, having drawn up the ranking list, it admits the top five musical commentaries to the final stage.
The Awards Jury has the task of viewing and judging the five entries admitted by the Selection Jury and chooses the winner of the MARIO NASCIMBENE AWARD. The event concludes with the final evening in which the protagonists are the five composers nominated for the Award.
At the end of the public viewing of the competing works, the winner is announced who will receive a scholarship of 2,500 euros and referral to film production companies.
